You know those books that feel like you’ve been doing life with these people for a while? Where you are a fly on a wall into a fully realized world and when you leave the book you wish the author would text you every once and a while to let you know how the characters are doing?
Snowflakes on Silver Cove is one of those for me.
Holly Martin is a new-to-me author I will be keeping my eyes out for again. Well paced, lovely emotional unfolding, believable relationships, holiday cheer: this best friends to lovers story has it all. It’s both a good romance with the requisite happily ever after and a story about a lovely wee town in the U.K. and its various inhabitants.
Libby is a best selling author of romance novels who is in a bit of a romantic rut herself. Her best mate, George, is eager to help her with “research”, but of course has an ulterior motive: he’s in love with her! Add in a cast of supporting characters with dashes of delightful crazy and you’ve got a fab book to curl up with as the snow falls outside.
Enjoy with hot chocolate or red wine, whatever your preference!
