In I Heart Forever, Kelk takes us back to her New York, as previously explored in the last six installments of this series. It’s a New York full of promise, hijinks, and beautiful people who possess kindness and warmth. Like a fairyland of sorts, for sure, but an utterly delightful fiction to indulge in.

Angela’s life is sometimes a bit scattered. Her husband’s job requires a lot of travel, which leaves her to her own devices on a regular basis. This means she has a lovely group of friends, but they also ask her to be their secret keeper on a pretty regular basis. To balance this all requires deftness that sometimes, shall we say, eludes Angela.

To go into more detail than that will allude to some of the more fun sneaky surprises and capers, so I’m going to leave it at that. If you are a fan of Kelk’s previous works, then this will be a welcome back to a fun world, have no fear.

Overall, this is a fun book. Not my favorite Kelk by far, but still a nice diversion. I read it on a beach chair with some spiked seltzer in hand and found the combo lovely.
